Society Annual General Meeting held end of August

CFA Society Finland members gathered for Annual General Meeting and Dinner on 27th August 2026 at Restaurant Southpark in the beautiful Sinebrychoff Park in Southern Helsinki. Attendees enjoyed networking drinks on the terrace before the meeting, followed by a presentation from the Board highlighting key developments and achievements from the past operational year. We were happy to have many of our CFA members join us to reflect on the past year and look forward to the next one.

We were happy to welcome CFA Society Finland board president Tuomas Hillukkala, CFA to open the meeting and present on the highlights of the past operational year as well as plans for the next one. Treasurer Jenny Yang, CFA delivered information on the financial statements from FY26 and elaborated on the budget for FY27. Society member Matias Möttölä, CFA acted as the Chair for the AGM, many thanks!

CFA Society Finland previous board presidenT Toni Iivonen, CFA gave a presentation of the work of the nomination committee for the new board for FY27. We’re excited to welcome a freshly elected team of the following board members for 2026-2027 season: Tuomas Hillukkala, CFA, continuing as the Society president, Alexander Matysuhkin, CFA and Endriko Võrklaev, CFA, as vice presidents, along with Miska Kuhalampi, CFA, Aleksi Jalava, CFA, Tapio Koivu, CFA, Tommi Lemström-Karvinen, CFA and Mirva Peltoniemi, CFA as board members. We extend our sincere thanks to the outgoing board members for their work and dedication, thank you Antti Ihalainen, CFA, Antti Kontio, CFA, Jenny Yang, CFA, and Ronny Högström, CFA!

After the meeting our attending members enjoyed a delicious three course dinner featuring the beautiful park scenery in the warm summer evening. As a highlight of the event we awarded two new Charterholders in our Society, congratulations Jyri Patama, CFA and Antti Savelainen, CFA.‍ ‍
