Membership Options

Regular membership

  • As a regular member of CFA Institute you can become a regular member of CFA Society Finland and enjoy the benefits of our society membership

  • Regular membership requires a CFA or CIPM Charter or candidate status

  • You must have 4000 hours worth of relevant work experience, completed in a minimum of 36 months

  • If you already have a passing score for the Level I CFA Exam or CIPM Program Level I and II Exam and have required professional work experience in investment decision making, we encourage you to apply for the regular membership of CFA Institute

Affiliate membership

  • This membership is recommended for investment professionals who wish to engage as a member in the society but do not intend to participate in the CFA program. Affiliate members receive the membership benefits with the exception of having voting rights on proxies, and using the CFA designation.

  • You can apply for an affiliate membership of CFA Society Finland from the board. At the same time you have to apply for an affiliate membership of the CFA Institute.

  • You will need at least one CFA Society Finland referee to gain Society membership.

You can submit your regular or affiliate membership application online through your personal account. Institute prorates their dues, so you pay for the months left in that membership year. The CFA Institute membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June. Find more information on the CFA Institute membership requirements here.
