Carsten Roemheld, Capital Markets Strategist at Fidelity

Carsten Roemheld, Capital Markets Strategist at Fidelity International, talks to media, TV and radio about current trends in the capital markets, central bank policy as well as key macro events and their impact on equity and bond markets. In addition to his role as Capital Market Strategist at Fidelity he was also the Head of Fund Selection Units from 2014 to 2018. From 2005 to 2013, he was Director US Equity Sales at Credit Suisse in London and Frankfurt, responsible for institutional clients in Germany, Scandinavia and the UK.

He started his professional career after an asset management trainee program within Commerzbank in 1998 at the mutual fund company ADIG Investment (later Cominvest) as a portfolio manager in the global equity team, where he was responsible for various investment funds with AuM of around €800m until 2005. Carsten Roemheld holds a degree in business administration from the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, the DVFA/CEFA investment analyst qualification, and has been a CFA charterholder since 2001.
