The Danish Finance Society/CFA Society Denmark cordially invite you to the 3rd European Alternative Investments Conference on October 7th, 2026, a premier gathering where leading professionals in alternative investments convene to explore cutting-edge research from top academics and financial experts.
This year’s agenda features thought-provoking keynote speeches on inflation, and that the conventional understanding of inflation may be severely outdated. We will hear from one of the leading front figures in the managed futures industry how to generate crisis alpha in inflationary times. Also, artificial intelligence is on everybody’s mind and will also impact alternative asset classes including real estate. Some may argue even more than interest rates.
Following the first three keynote speeches, we will also learn more about how total portfolio approach can be a gateway to better performance & resilience in portfolio construction. Finally, complexity is everywhere in financial markets, especially those deemed as “alternative”. The keynote speaker raises the question whether alternatives are under-allocated in the portfolio construction process due to complexity aversion.
