Asia Sustainability Symposium: Sustainability Strategies and Investor Expectations, 9.4.2026
Across the Asia-Pacific region, jurisdictions are also moving forward with the introduction of sustainability disclosure frameworks based on ISSB Standards. At the same time, the practical implementation of sustainability disclosures by companies, and their use by investors in corporate valuation and investment decision-making, is still evolving in many countries and regions.
The Asia Sustainability Symposium is organized by the Securities Analysts Association of Japan (SAAJ) in cooperation with the IFRS Foundation Asia-Oceania Office. Through the discussions, the symposium aims to identify key challenges and pathways toward the practical implementation of ISSB Standards following regulatory adoption.
Emmanuel Faber (ISSB Chair) and Toshitake Inoue (Director-General, Policy and Markets Bureau, Financial Services Agency) will discuss the latest developments in ISSB Standards and the progress of sustainability disclosure initiatives in Japan, respectively.
The symposium is open to the public and free of charge. We sincerely look forward to your participation. Pre-registration is required.
